A popular saying among Ibusa people states in their native parlance, “Onye ni maho ebe mili si mabaa, a mama ebe osi kwusi imaa”, (a person who does not know where he encountered rainfall will equally not know where it stopped beating him). This is a true testament of the political mindset of the average Nigerian Christian today.
The attached photograph is one of the 15 mass graves of Christian victims of August 5 and 6, 2020 massacre by Fulani Muslim jihadists in five Atyap Christian Communities of Southern Kaduna, Middle Belt Region of Nigeria. How would a morally debauched element like Femi Fani-Kayode describe such a heinous and horrifying crime? Celebrated and justified killings or, genocide?
Has the professionally tactical and humane Israeli Defence Force (IDF) killed a single non-terrorist Palestinian civilian except by cross-fire incidents? Yet Nigeria had a Vice President who is a known sworn jihadist and sponsor of Boko Haram, shamelessly coughing out inundation of political stupidity before the United Nations General Assembly condemning the State of Israel for a battle that defines their very existence as a people and nation; just as Nigerian Christians are facing today.
Unless Christians in Nigeria decide to understand the root of the present genocide against them, which is horrifically perpetrated under the differing canopies of Islamic bandits, armed Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), they face the catastrophic experiences of Christians in Sudan, Chad, Lebanon and Gaza Strip under Muslim leaderships. Chad Republic once a majority Christian country is totally Islamized presently. The same is Cote d’Ivoire. Nigeria has already been taken with a Muslim President and a Muslim Vice President.
How do we rightly refer to the official status of Nigeria currently, with a Muslim President and a Muslim Vice President in a nation of Christian majority population of 60 percent to Muslim 38 percent? Is it right to continue referring to Nigeria wrongly as Federal Republic of Nigeria or, rightly as Islamic Federal Republic of Nigeria?
The truth is that only the Muslims in Nigeria who are less than Christians in population, are intellectually inferior to Christians and, evidently economically backward in orientation, have measurable high productive political sense; while the Christians who by every demographic equation stand out as the majority in population, exhibit disgusting unproductive political sense characterized by highfalutin sense of misjudged self-importance woven in self-inflicting corrupt mindset driven by animalistic ideological bankruptcy.
The Quran is replete with more than one hundred verses commanding the Muslims to hate and kill Christians and Jews; yet foolish Christians think there will ever be peace in Nigeria unless every Christian converts to Islam. A few of these verses will suffice to validate this assertion.
This is what Quran Surah (Chapter) 9 verse 29 says: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day, nor comply with what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who were given the Scripture,until they pay the tax,willingly submitting, fully humbled.”
Surah 9 verse 5 says: “But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the unbelievers ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them,capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
Surah 3 verse 151 says: “We will cast horror into the hearts of the disbelievers for associating ˹false gods˺ with Allah—a practice He has never authorized. The Fire will be their home—what an evil place for the wrongdoers to stay!”
Surah 2 verse 191 says: “And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.”
Surah 9 verse 5 says: “Then kill the disbelievers (non-Muslims) wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush. …”
Surah 5 verse 51 states: “O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as your friends—they are friends of each other. Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”
The truth of the above verses from the Quran is that when armed Fulani herdsmen, Muslim Bandits, Boko Haram, ISWAP and other Islamic insurgents rape Christian women, kidnap their Christian victims, demand ransoms from them and, kill Christians willingly, they do so under no other moral justification than the injunctions of the above verses from the Quran. They commit such heinous crimes because that is what the Quran commanded them to do.
Theologically, under Islamic law (Shariah) the Nigerian nation we have today is what is called “Dar al-Harb”, which is the land of holy war (jihad). It is an area where under Islamic law official and unofficial wars against unbelievers by individual Muslims or groups are permitted through attacks against Christians and other non-Muslim groups.
So how can any sane human being talk about religious war when Nigeria is already under a state of religious war. The only difference in this regard is the inability of Christians to stand up and defend themselves. And the only reason is the debauchery of those political and Church leaders who claim to be Christians
This is why no single Muslim bandit or Fulani herdsman has been brought to justice for kidnappings and killings. This equally explains why the Federal Government under a Muslim President cannot initiate any tangible policy against banditry and jihads in Nigeria today. This is the reason why Bandits can conveniently move around without the fear of serious military confrontations.
A situation where a State Governor will hold a public meeting with Bandits responsible for untold kidnappings, killings and ransoms in the name of peace agreement is a proof of Government collaboration with Islamic insurgents in the country. This further explains why neither the Sultan of Sokoto nor any Muslim Governor in Nigeria has come out openly to condemn the heinous crimes against humanity being perpetrated by these groups.
In fact, one of the conditions these murderous Muslim leaders gave Peter Obi in exchange for their presumed support is to never openly condemn the on-going genocide against Christians. Indeed, there have been claims that Nigerian Christians are ritually hypnotized by the Muslims and rendered politically limbless through their cow-meat; but there are a whole lot of Christian political and Church leaders playing Judas Iscariot because of their inordinate quest for money and political opportunism.
This is equally the case with the present leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), whose moral and religious senses of judgment have been muzzled by blood-stained money from these same murderers of innocent and defenseless Christians. What they left undone the Honorable Senator Ted Cruz and other divinely inspired Christian political leaders of America and Canada did.
This explains why, when I read Femi Fani kayode’s puppyish utterance titled, “The Fiction of Christian Genocide and the Conspiracy against Nigeria,” it reminded me of the barking of a motherless hungry baby-dog seeking for notice even from those responsible for the death of its mother in order to find something to eat. Many Nigerians will agree with me that Femi Fani-Kayode is a hungry gentleman presently scavenging for political crumbs from APC political table.
I have been following Mr. Femi Fani Kayode’s frequent compulsive anti-Israel vituperations under the garb of an unofficial spokesman of the Stateless Palestinian Embassy in Nigeria and; what often crosses my mind is what the respected former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Balogun Dr. Olusegun Obasanjo said about the man called Femi Fani-Kayode: “Femi Fani Kayode is my boy. Provide him food, he will eat and then sing for you. He’s a smart boy.”
However, Nigerians are yet to fathom how smart Femi Fani-Kayode is really, given his publicly acknowledged crooked celebrity showmanship, verbose utterances of nothingness and beggarly display of fictional self-importance constructed on subconscious carriage of political harlotry inherited from his father.
His father Chief Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunboh Fani-Kayode lived the life of a political harlot throughout his political career in the First Republic. From Action Group under Chief Obafemi Awolowo he jumped into the boat of NCNC under Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe; and from NCNC he again jumped into Chief Samuel Akintola’s political Bolikaja. Do Nigerians expect anything better from the son of such a man?
No responsible and true Yoruba man will under any circumstance mockingly open his mouth to deny the obvious fact of Genocide against Christians in Nigeria by Muslim jihadists sponsored by the present Muslim rulers of Nigerian Federation. The first question that goes to this madman called Femi Fani-Kayode is, what shall we call the heinous episode of Sunday June 5, 2022 at Owo Catholic Church, where more than 50 worshippers were slaughtered in cold-blood? That was on June 2022 and we are currently in October 2025. How many of the culprits have been tried and sentenced for that heinous crime till date?
Femi Fani-Kayode says he attended University of Cambridge but showcases his psycho-intellectual stupidity with the carriage of a normal Lagos street urchin whose political culture of mendicancy beclouds his moral sense of judgment. As I noted earlier in my previous essays, Femi Fani-Kayode is not a historical Yoruba man but a man of ancestral Nupe origin. So whatever action he takes, as in the case of his father, is determined by his stomach desires and not collective Yoruba or Christian interests.
For those Nigerians who might not be aware, his great grandfather Rev. Emmanuel Adedapo Kayode was a Sierra Leonean liberated slave of Nupe origin recruited by Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther to help in the translation the Bible to Nupe language. In the process of his assignment he not only changed his identity to Yoruba but was ordained an Anglican Priest by Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther, who later sent him to Ile-Ife as the pioneer missionary.
He subsequently adopted Ile-Ife as his hometown. To fully integrate himself into Yoruba ethnic society, Bishop Ajayi Crowther arranged a wife from the prestigious Cole family of Victorian Lagos for him. His wife’s brother was indeed the founding Principal of Abeokuta Grammar School from 1906 to 1920, and the founding Principal of Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife. Femi Fani-Kayode should therefore be informed that his real State of origin is Niger State; and his real ethnic identity is Nupe and not Yoruba.
In Femi Fani-Kayode therefore, we can see an ancestral Nupe (Tapa) Muslim wearing the false garb of a Yoruba Christian defending the cause of murderous Palestinians and supporting the on-going heinous crime of genocide against Christians in Nigeria by State-sponsored jihadists. Hear him:
“The truth is that the Americans, their allies, and their local collaborators are carefully and craftily preparing the ground for a religious war in our country, and they want us to tear ourselves apart.”
Who are the local collaborators of America in Nigeria, if I may ask this insane political urchin called Femi Fani-Kayode? Does Femi Fani-Kayode refer to the Christians facing daily dangers of extermination local collaborators of America? Is Nigeria not already in a state of religious war against Christians, except for the shameful inability of the Christians to fight back?
We need not go into the dark era of Nasir el-Rufai’s Governorship of Kaduna State where thousands of defenseless Christians were slaughtered by jihadists under whatever name they choose to call themselves, with the collaboration of both the State and Federal Governments. What about the cases of Benue, Plateau, Taraba and Enugu States? Do we call the situations there pogrom or genocide? Can Nigerians count the number of daily kidnappings, killings and demands for ransoms from these Muslim jihadists?
This is why the on-going political alliance between Peter Obi and Nasir el-Rufai will come to naught. It is disgraceful that Peter Obi for whatever insane political tactics, has not come out once to boldly condemn the on-going genocide against Christians in Nigeria; but he was quick to acknowledge the existence of religious war in Nigeria against Christians in his telephone conversation with Bishop David Oyedepo. He goes about donating blood-inspired money to Churches and Almajiri Islamic jihad schools for his inordinate desperate ambition and thinks God is asleep.
What concerns Peter Obi and his likes who claim to be Christians is nothing but their desperate desire for political power and offices without regard to the future of their own people as Christians. To declare the obvious, any Christian leader or politician who should not come out boldly this time to support the American lawmakers in their courageous bid to put a stop to the endless slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, is an accomplice and will definitely suffer the fate of Judas Iscariot.
We know as things stand today that there are two categories of Christians in Nigeria today. The first category represents those who are Christians in both body and spirit and remain so by both faith and work. This is the category that stands up fearlessly for the persecuted Christians and Jews. This category stands up for the Jews and the State of Israel, come-rain, come-sunshine. They are neither ashamed nor afraid to defend themselves and their Christian faith. They cannot be bought with money. The question is how many Christians in Nigeria today belong to this category?
This category believes and stands up fearlessly in support of the Jews and the State of Israel and unequivocally stand with the State Israel that there shall be no State of Palestine represented by the present so-called West Bank, which indeed is the Biblical Judea and Samaria. Beyond being the heart of Christianity and Judaism, it is the same place we have the City of Bethlehem—the birth-place of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
How can anybody who calls himself a fateful follower of Jesus Christ standby and see the birth-place of the founder of his faith handed over to Islam—the arch-enemy of Christians and Christianity? It is like handing over Mecca to Jews and, Rome to Muslims. It is therefore a divine call that every Christian who regards himself as a Christian in both body and spirit should stand up for the Jews and the State of Israel at this time of their maximum trial.
The second category represents those who are only Christians in body but not in spirit. This category lacks the guided unction of the spirit of God, lacks both faith and work and, are only driven by self-survival material instinct. Under the current prevailing Nigerian political climate, they are Christians in body and Muslims in spirit. This is where the likes of Femi Fani-Kayode and current National President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and members of his Executive Council belong.
The consolation Nigerian Christians today however is not only that the catastrophic failure of the present Federal Government signifies the failure of Islam as a religion of progress in political leadership; but the emergence of the indomitable President Donald Trump of the United States of America and the intrepid son of Zion, Prime Minister Bibi Benjamin Netanyahu of the God-created State of Israel.
There is no doubt that to majority of Christians in Nigeria and the world over there is nothing worth maximum pride and celebration in defense of their faith more than the dramatic and divinely inspired emergence of President Donald Trump of the United States of America and Prime Minister Bibi Benjamin Netanyahu of the State of Israel on the Global political stage.
Islam can strive but can never overwhelm or conquer Christianity and Judaism. It is on the record of Nigerian history that no Muslim leader both political and religious has exhumed progress in the overall development of the Nigerian leadership. Christians in Nigeria within their communities and individual States continue to develop geometrically in economic and human resources; Muslims in spite of their clandestine cling to political power continue to retrogress geometrically in economic and positive human resources.
It is a gospel truism that over 90 percent of those accepted as the Prophets of Islam in the Quran are the same Jews accepted as Prophets by both Jews and Christians thousands of years before Islam. The question then is, how can Islam and Muslims think they can conquer the same people whose people and religion created the very foundation on which Islam is constructed?
Intelligent and patriotic Nigerians without ethnic and religious borders will agree without qualms that the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria as a nation and Nigerians collectively as citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since independence is to have two fanatical self-conceited Muslims— Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Alhaji Kashim Shettima as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Added to a Muslim President and a Muslim Vice President of archaic and retarded dogmatic Islamic Caliphate mentality are a Muslim National Security Adviser, the fantastically corrupt Alhaji Nuhu Ribadu, the Muslim Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and, the Muslim Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammad Matawalle; all of whom are not just of Fulani jihadist heritage, but are documented sponsors of Islamic insurgency in Nigeria.
There is therefore no way Nigeria will expect peace, justice and security for Christians under the above Islamist security framework of the Nigerian nation. To expect peace, progress and unity in the present Nigerian nation under these Islamic fundamentalists in Government is like Christians seeking protection and justice from the thrones of Satan and the Devil.
