After reading the recent moronic lamentation by Augustine Tabansi Udene in which he arduously invoked his roguish ancestors, disused deities and wingless witches and wizards against the Odogwu of Ibusa, I wept for Agukwu-Ugbene. I wept for Agukwu-Ugbene not because there is any moral reason to sympathize with deluded liars and fabricators of time-honored history of Igboland, but because of the awful consequences of such lies and fabrications.
I had expected a well-educated, well-informed and a well-coordinated sane person from Agukwu-Ugbene to provide a point-by-point response by way of refutation to my historical exposé on Agukwu-Ugbene and Tabansi Udene family. Unfortunately the same addle-brained semi-literate and semi-illiterate braggarts continue to surface with befuddled psychopathic display of infantile intellectual idiocy.
It is quite unfortunate that the once boastful but now hapless Augustine Tabansi Udene has opted to go traditionally roguish by seeking refuge among his roguish ancestors, disused deities and hapless witches and wizards otherwise known as Nkanka-Amosu” in Igbo parlance. In his usual capped disoriented sentences, Augustine Tabansi Udene has stated:
“WELL, WE HAVE STUDENTS, ELITES, ACADEMICIANS, ETC ON THIS PLATFORM. IF A MAN WHO RED HISTORY AS A CORE COURSE IN SCHOOL CAN CALL ANOTHER MAN THAT RED PROFESSIONAL COURSE LIKE ACCOUNTANCY AND GOT UP TO POSTGRADUATE LEVEL OR ENGINEERING UP TO PHD “ INTELLECTUALLY MIDGET” THEN THE REASONING OF THE MAN REALLY NEEDS BE GIVEN A SECOND LOOK. I DONT NEED TO TALK MORE AS WE KNOW THE PRE ENTRY QUALIFICATION AND GENERAL DUTIES OF THE MENTIONED COURSES ON GRADUATION. I WAS ADMITTED FOR A NON PROFESSIONAL COURSE IN THE SAME YEAR IN THE UNIVERSITY BUT I PERSONALLY SELF ANALYZED WHAT TO GET EMPLOYED IN ON GRADUATION, HENCE I OPTED FOR ACCOUNTANCY IN A POLYTECHNIC SAME YEAR.”
It is only a person who was not present when a corpse was buried that exhumes it from the legs. Let me begin by educating Augustine Tabansi Udene what he does not know about my academic background.
I attended Anglican Boys Grammar School, Akwukwu-Igbo, Delta State and of 1980 Class. I was one of the best students in both arts and sciences with the ambition of being an engineer. It was based on my science background that I was employed and trained as Assistant Superintendent/Technical Officer-in-Training in Aviation Signals Air Traffic Control Telecommunications, by Federal Civil Aviation Department, Enugu Airport Emene, Enugu, from 1981 to 1984, before I decided to study History, instead of my earlier ambition to study mechanical engineering. The decision did not go down well with my father, who subsequently refused to pay my school fees till my final year, leaving the whole burden of my University education on my mother.
I was trained on the repair and maintenance of such aviation air traffic landing high frequency equipment as Non-Directional Beacon (NDB), Very High Frequency (VHF) Omni-Directional Range (VOR), and VHF Radio Transmitters used by Air traffic Controllers to communicate with aircraft pilots. Moreover my entry qualification for the job was credit in mathematics and Physics. I rose to become Branch Propaganda Secretary of Civil Service Technical Workers Union of Nigeria (CSTWUN), Enugu-Airport. I decided to study history on my personal volition and not that I was not qualified to study engineering or accountancy.
People like Augustine Tabansi Udene should therefore be better informed that it is not every person who studied arts or social sciences in the university was not qualified to study either engineering or the sciences. Prof Chinua Achebe gained admission to study medicine in University College, Ibadan but decided to switch to Literature and Classics. Prof Chinweizu, one of my well-respected professional godfathers studied mathematics in his first degree before switching to history for his master’s and PhD degrees.
Augustine Tabansi Udene claims to have studied accountancy up to master’s degree level without informing us when he became chartered by ICAN. We are fully aware of how Charles Tabansi Udene, the celebrated engineer in Tabansi Udene family bought his degree at Italy after dropping out from the university as a result of poor performance. When people with questionable intellectual carriage in their claimed areas of specialization jump intellectually naked into an area they are starkly ignorant of, they simply turn to intellectual midgets. That is just what Augustine Tabansi Udene and Charles Tabansi Udene are in the field of history.
Still reeling in his morbid state of melancholic intellectual debauchery, Augustine Tabansi Udene further stated:
“AGAIN, HOW CAN YOU OPT FOR OR SUPPORT PEACE MOVES IN NRI? NO NOW, YOU WOUNT SUPPORT THAT BECAUSE YOU NEED TO BE PAID TO WRITE ALL THESE “IKO ONU” RUBBISH AND FORWARD TO THEM TO POST. WATCH PEOPLE WHO FISH IN TROUBLE WATERS, THEY MUST SUPPORT OR STIR UP TROUBLE IN ORDER TO FEED. HENCE YOU HAVE THE NERVES TO CAST ASPERSIONS AND NAMES CALLING ON THE TABANSI UDENE ROYAL KING, FATHERS AND SONS, EVEN FABRICATING STORIES.”
The man who brought ant-infested firewood into his house should expect lizards as visitors. The Tabansi Udene family brought the ant-infested firewood into Agukwu-Ugbene by paying Prof Michael Angulu Onwuejeogwu to concoct infantile lies on Nri history in particular and Igbo history in general. Both Prof Onwuejeogwu’s Master’s degree research which was on Nri and the publications of nearly all the associated books were paid for by Tabansi Udene family.
His first book, “An Outline of An Igbo civilization: Nri Kingdom and Hegemony, A.D. 994 to present”, was published free of charge by Tabansi Press Ltd, Onitsha in 1980. His second and mainline book, “An Igbo Civilization: Nri Kingdom & Hegemony” published in 1981 by Ethiope Publishing Company, Benin City, was sponsored by Prince Reuben Tabansi Udene. It is therefore laughable for Augustine Tabansi Udene to continue lamenting over who paid Odogwu of Ibusa to defend his research.
I am only defending the lies and fabrications that impinge on the results of my field research. I don’t care if I am branded as paid or unpaid writer. All I know is that I spent three and half years against the allotted two years for my comprehensive research master’s degree program in history at the Department of History and International Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and I cannot stand akimbo under any circumstance to see shameless proud intellectual midgets and braggarts despoil the facts of Igbo history, just because they think in their moronic state of mind that they are superior to some people.
Which form of superiority does Tabansi Udene family think they have over Akamkpisi-Nri or Adama-Nri people? Is it superiority by lies and fabricated history of a stranger-family from Nimo claiming royalty by usurpation? Augustine Tabansi Udene should not associate Dr. Nwaezeigwe with any form of peace in Nri town when Agukwu-Ugbene ignominiously snubbed the Anambra State Hon. Commissioner of Chieftaincy and Community matters who invited them to a peace meeting with their Akamkpisi-Nri kinsmen.
The following miserable infantile invocations are stark evidence of how morally debased and spiritually corrupted Augustine Tabansi Udene has become:
“ANY WAY, NO MUCH WORDS AND I PREVIOUSLY SAID THAT I WILL NOT RESPOND TO “IKO ONU” FROM EPILEPTIC MOUTHS. THOUGH ONE THING YOU ARE SURE OF IS THAT WHO EVER THAT; 1) INSULTS NRIMENRI, EZENRIS, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS TABANSI UDENE, NRIJIOFOR 11 2) CONTRIBUTES IN WRITING, WORDS OF MOUTH, PHONE CALL OR MESSAGING 3) CLAPPED OR CLAPS ON THE ABOVE 4) LIED ON HIS NAME 5) PAID TO WRITE OR TO TELL A STORY NEGATIVELY ON HIS NAME 6) SUPPORTS IN ANYWAY ON ANY OF THE ABOVE SHALL RECEIVE NEGATIVITIES IN TRILLION FOLDS WITHOUT MERCY. ANY WASHING HANDS OFF AFTER PARTICIPATING SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED. YOU GUYS CAN CONTINUE ON YOUR TANTRUMS TO THE JOURNEYED EZENRIS OF NRI. IT SHALL EFFECT ON ANY PERSON WHETHER FROM ANY OF THE VILLAGES CALLED NRI OR ANY OTHER TOWN IN NIGERIA, SO LONG AS THE MORTAL LIVES BY BREATHING OXYGEN, HE OR SHE SHALL RECEIVE SUCH NEGATIVITIES IN FOLDS. WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT, EXPECT THE NEGATIVITIES FROM ANA NRI, AJA ANA NRI AND ALL DIETIES NA EMELU NRI IFE NA NDI NRI NA EMELU IFE, YOUR RELIGION, CULT OR BELIEVES NOT TO BE CONSIDERED.”
He who seeks equity must come with clean hands, so goes a popular legal parlance. First, all the past Eze-Nri mentioned above are spineless roguish ancestors who usurped the kingship from the rightful owners. So they lack the spiritual efficacy of potent Igbo ancestors to sit in judgment against anyone nah attacking Odogwu of Ibusa. Moreover, talking of lies and fabrications of Nri history, there is no gainsaying the fact that any judgment to such effect must readily go against Tabansi Udene family and all Agukwu-Ugbene individuals who have been engaging in falsification of Nri history and concerted efforts to demean and undermine the sacred status of Adama-Nri. These are the people the above curses or invocations will go after.
Augustine Tabansi Udene should also be well-informed that Aja-Ana Nri does not belong to Agukwu-Ugbene but to Adama-Nri. So he lacks the customary locus standi to invoke it against anybody. A stranger cannot invoke the ancestral land of his hosts against his hosts. The same applies to the main Idemili Deity in Nri consisting of Idemili-Diodo, Ngene-Etiti and Ngene-Imemmili. Which of these shrines of Idemili Deity is under the custodianship of Agukwu-Ugbne? So which deity is Augustine Tabansi Udene invoking?
If Augustine Tabansi Udene thinks that I, Odogwu Nwankwo Tony Nwaezeigwe can be threatened with those sham ancestors and deities, or his wingless Nkanka Amosu (Witches), then he does not properly understand where I am coming from. Indeed, this reminds me of one ugly experience I had with a mermaid on my way to Lagos one time, an experience which needs to be recounted at length.
Sometime in 2014, as I was traveling to Lagos alone in my car from Nsukka only accompanied by the booming sound of music in the car, just as I was approaching the disused Ore Toll-Gate, I was gently flagged down by a very beautiful chubby young lady in her early 20’s. Caught in the temptation, I applied my brake and on winding down the window glass, she muttered, “Lagos”, and immediately I signaled her to jump into the car, and off we went.
I was busy on my steering-wheel not bothering on talking to her since I was always on top speed on the highway. Immediately we crossed the Ipayi Bridge separating Ondo and Ogun States and entered the long stretch of wilderness, I noticed her gesturing to me as if she was saying something, and each time I turned to ask her what she was saying I felt a strong spell of dizziness with sleepy instinct. The first time, I immediately removed my gaze from her.
The second attempt, I nearly lost control of my steering. Regaining my full warrior instinct, as she attempted to make the third attempt, I shouted at her, “Will you stop that nonsense.” I stopped the car and immediately warned that if she repeats such nonsense again, I would push her out of the car. I said look, I have a marine wife who is right here with us and would deal with you right away if you try such nonsense again. Moreover, my mother is dead, and I have sisters and aunts who are in the spirit world to deal with you if you try such again. I am Odogwu of Igbuzo if I have not yet informed you. Don’t try me, Okay?
She looked at me dazed for a moment and then said, “What are you talking? I don’t understand what you are talking.” I said ok, you will understand later, and off I zoomed the car. Just as I entered the Ijebu Ode Toll-Gate the bonnet of my car flew open and I gently packed by the side of the Toll-Gate entrance. As I stepped out of the car to put the bonnet in order, she stepped out as well, only to inform me she was no longer going with me to Lagos. I said no problem, closed my bonnet and thereafter proceeded with my journey to Lagos.
If Augustine Tabansi Udene knows the ancestral status of the man whose photo is attached, he will definitely be informed that the sacred ancestors of Nri are fully behind me and every Nri indigene that believes and accepts the truth of Nri history and not Agukwu-Ugbene lies and fabrications. And it is against this background that I hereby invoke the following revered ancestors and departed Indichie Nri to go against all the indigenes of Nri who have decided to destroy the sacred legacies of their town through lies and fabrication of their history:

Ozumba, Madam Mgbeke Mbanefo, Sylvester Ananweudu Nduka, Michael Okoye Ogwo, Okika Ekenezie (Ewesie), Fabian Idemilika Iloabuchi, Jacob Anaedu, Anthony Nwana Ogbah, Okafor Orakanmadu, Okafor Maduka, Christopher Ndukaife Nedua, Gauis E. Okonkwo, Okonkwo Onyebua, B.I.O. Odinanwa, Obiora Ozonwa Ezealibu, Samuel Izuegbunam Okafor, Anisiobi Oguadimma, Nwosu Oduenyi, and John Nkwele.
