Iranian Supreme Leader sends message to Muslims all over the World, Declares common enemy

According to a report by Sky News, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, urged Muslim nations to strengthen their defenses from Afghanistan to Yemen, including Iran, Gaza, and Lebanon, stating that the Muslim nation have a “common enemy”.

Khamenei made these remarks during his first Friday prayers in Iran in four years. He referred to the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7—which Israel claims killed about 1,200 people and saw 250 taken as hostages to Gaza—as a justified action, similar to Iran’s recent strike on Israel.

He defended Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel as “legal and legitimate”.

“The operation of our armed forces a few nights ago was totally legal and legitimate,” he said.

Khamenei further stated, “We will conquer all adversaries,” and added that with “Muslim cooperation, divine glory will support them.”

“The enemy of the Islamic nation is one, although its methods differ from one country to another. The policy of the arrogant and tyrants is based on sowing division and discord among Muslims,” he stated.

Iran will not “procrastinate or rush to carry out its duty” in confronting Israel, he added, describing the “brilliant action” of the missile attack this week against Israel as “completely legal and legitimate”. He said.

His comments follow just days after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, backed by Iran, was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

According to Sky News, it’s Middle East correspondent, Alistair Bunkall, said Khamenei’s speech is a clear “call for the Muslim world to unite” against Israel, which the supreme leader views as the primary aggressor in the region.

“This is an appearance to show defiance and to try and show strength in the face of what has been a very difficult time for Iran and for its proxies,” he added.
