According to the report from the Daily Post; infamous terrorist leader Bello Turji has issued a defiant warning to the Nigerian federal government, demanding that they cease deploying service chiefs to hunt him and his followers.

The statement follows a recent high-profile visit to Sokoto State by Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, former Zamfara State governor Bello Matawalle, and other senior military officials.

The visit was part of ongoing efforts to combat the severe banditry and terrorism in the region. This comes after Turji’s group was seen in a viral video celebrating their acquisition of two Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles from the Nigerian Army.

In his response to the intensified military actions, Turji declared that he and his men are not intimidated by the threat of death, emphasizing their readiness for the risks involved.V

He directly warned the government to stop sending service chiefs after them, stating, “If we were afraid of dying, we wouldn’t have taken up arms in the first place. Stop sending service chiefs after us.”
