In addition, there were consistent attacks carried out in planned fashion, at various times, with higher frequency within the Atyap nation, happening unabated within 2017 to mid 2023 which has plunged inhabitants in untold hardship; displaced, homeless, killed etc. Most victims are camped at two temporary shelters provided by ECWA church authority in Samaru Kataf and Zonkwa. Some families collapsed into living with relatives, or at safe distances. The quantity of farms lands/plants destroyed and grazed upon and amount of grains burnt in barns and stalks runs into millions of Naira.

In conclusion, all distress calls made to Kaduna State government to set up government camps and garnered support for the victims have never responded promptly, neither have ever created shelter constituted authorities. In all the call made about the distressed condition of the casualty to Kaduna State government under the leadership of Gov. Nasir Elrufa’i at any point yielded no result; thousands of affected persons.
