DENIAL OF CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE IN NIGERIA IS LIKE VATICAN HATRED OF THE JEWS: Open Letter to Cardinal Pietro Parolin— Vatican Secretary of State:

Nwankwo T. Nwaezeigwe, PhD                                                                     October 28, 2025

 Your Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin,

The current state of Genocide against Christians in Nigeria is like a woman with a seven-month old pregnancy. She cannot hide it from the public anymore.

President Muhammadu Buhari died in 2017; but the Roman Catholic Church in Nigeria, collaborated with their Muslim hirelings to cover it up for six years, just to stop the Protestant Vice President from taking over as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. To seal their lies, they later concocted a fake second death and subsequent fake official burial.

Your Eminence, you are aware of the ill-famed Papal Forgery called the “Donation of Constantine”, which your colleague Cardinal Lorenzo Valla discovered to be a Papal forgery in 1444 AD and, stands as forgery to date. This time, that evil strategy of cover-up cannot stand in the case of the on-going Genocide against Christians in Nigeria; because the blood of Nigerian Christians is much stronger than the “Donation of Constantine.”

In 2023, Rt. Rev Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah, the now infamous Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, who now denies both the persecution and the on-going genocide against Nigerian Christians by Muslims, stated in an interview withs the online news outlet AciAfrica:

 “Many things have happened to us in Sokoto. We have had our churches burnt down, the killing of Deborah Emmanuel, our cathedral was almost burnt down, and my Priests were almost killed I have lost a seminarian, I’ve lost a Priest, we have spent over 30 million naira which we don’t have to rescue our pastoral agents from kidnappers.

(See, AciAfrica November 3, 2023, https://www.aciafrica.org/news/9514/tens-of-thousands-of-dollars-spent-in-rescuing-pastoral-agents-in-nigerian-diocese-bishop).

Is it not ridiculous that the same Bishop Kukah stated before his audience in the Vatican City on October 21, 2025 that he moves on freely in Sokoto Caliphate in his Bishop’s vestment and carries out his pastoral duties with his flocks without fear?

The same Bishop Kukah is today drumming up support for the same people who created the above purgatorial situation for him. The same Bishop Kukah is telling us that there is nothing like Christian persecution and, there is nothing like Genocide against Christians. Is that not the height of hypocrisy laden with inconceivable Episcopal lies? We are told by Proverbs 19:5 that, “A false witness will not escape punishment, neither will the one who tells lies.”

Your Eminence, on October 27, 2025, I delivered to your office and ten other offices in the Vatican City through email two files—a video and a document both titled: THE TRUTH AND LIES OF BISHOP MATTHEW KUKAH’S DENIAL OF CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE IN NIGERIA: A Call on UN Security Council to Constitute an International Criminal Court on Nigerian Genocide under Chapter VII, Articles 39-51 of UN Charter.”

That is where as Nigerian Christians stand today on the issue of genocide against Christians in Nigeria and, not the mere denial of its existence. This is because the only way the world can determine the veracity of Genocide against Nigerian Christians in Nigeria is through international-backed public inquiry. But does the Roman Catholic Church through Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah and his master, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin accept this approach? The answer is a divine-crafted No.

This is the reason I wish to humbly address you, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin on the following statement concerning the on-going Genocide against Christians in Nigeria you made on October 21, 2025 as reported by Vatican News. To quote the Holy See news outlet:

“Turning to Africa and the surge of hatred and violence affecting Christians in parts of Nigeria, Cardinal Parolin—citing local sources—stressed that the situation there is ‘not a religious conflict, but rather more a social one, for example, disputes between herders and farmers. ‘We should also recognize that many Muslims in Nigeria are themselves victims of this same intolerance,’ he noted. ‘These are extremist groups that make no distinctions in pursuing their goals. They use violence against anyone they see as an opponent.”’

Your Eminence Sir, let me respectfully inform you that the above statement, assertion, or opinion, whatever form you choose to categorize it, is a calculated inveterate falsehood; an unholy cover-up of truth before Our Lord Jesus Christ; an abhorrent, insensitive, condemnable and, sacrilegious false witness against the children of the Most High God martyred for no other reason than their faith in Christ Jesus Christ.

Your Eminence if I may ask, why have you and your crop of spiritually corrupt Catholic leadership in Nigeria chosen to be advocates for our Muslim murderers? Is the burden of denial not on supposed to be on the people we accuse of committing Genocide against us?

As victims, we have vigorously discharged our burden of proof. The onus is on our Muslim murderers to disprove our facts and, not the Roman Catholic Church. Why has the Roman Catholic Church taken up the burden of defending those Islamic monsters committing Genocide against the Christians of Nigeria? Is the blood of Nigerian Christians not worth the defense of the Catholic Church? Why should a whole Cardinal of the Catholic Church peddle inveterate falsehood against his flocks without proper investigations?

The Roman Catholic Church is not the only Church in Nigeria and, Roman Catholics are not the only Christian victims of the Genocide. So, anybody who thinks that, by lobbying you—His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, to speak inconceivable lies in the name of MONEY in your holy vestment as a senior Bishop of the Holy Catholic Church in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ and, unto the throne of God Almighty, is not only condemnable before the us the living, but to hell-fire without redemption in purgatory.

Your Eminence, I am not afraid to tell you that you lied before Holy Saint Peter on whose Basilica you sit today as a Cardinal; you lied before the Warrior-Angels Michael and Gabriel; and you lied before the father, the Son and, the Holy Spirit by the above statement. Even if the Host of the Angels of the Most High God descends from Heaven to repeat the same falsehood, I will challenge him and bluntly tell them that they lied.

Your Eminence, by the above statement, you bore witness against the God that created you and me. You bore false witness against Our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the Cross of Calvary so that you and I shall be saved. You bore false witness against the Children of God, the flocks you’re ordained to guide and protect. You wore the vestment of holiness in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but in your heart; in your statement and; in your action, you are an Amalekite.

Your Eminence, you have just acted in line with the Book of Micah Chapter 3 verse 11, which says: “Her leaders give verdicts for presents, her priests take a fee for their rulings, her prophets divine for money and yet they rely on Yahweh! ‘Isn’t Yahweh among us?’ they say, ‘No disaster is going to overtake us.‘”

Your Eminence, you informed the world that the case of Nigeria is “not a religious conflict, but rather more a social one, for example, disputes between herders and farmers.”

Let us take you by your own words with few examples. Let us begin by confronting your falsehood from your own house. The official Vatican City news outlet Vatican News in its April 17, 2023 headline, as reported by Lisa Zengarini, stated that, “Over 50,000 Christians killed in Nigeria by Islamist extremists.” Your Eminence! Who is the liar here; the Vatican News or you?

On Christmas day December 25, 2011, St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, Suleja, Niger State, close to Federal Capital Territory, was bombed by jihadists. Thirty-five (35) Roman Catholic worships died instantly; with countless wounded. Your Eminence, was that Catholic Church a farmland under contest with herders?

On April 14, 2014, 276 female Christian students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, a predominantly Christian town, were abducted by Boko Haram. As we speak today, more than 100 of them remain unaccounted for. Was that equally a farmer-herder conflict?

Your Eminence, on the Day of Pentecost Sunday June 5, 2022, the same people you referred to as herders marched all the way from Northern Nigeria, a distance of more than one thousand kilometers to the far Southwest City of Owo, the hometown of Ondo State Governor, entered St, Xavier Roman Catholic Church during Mass, and slaughtered over 40 worshippers, with more than 80 seriously wounded. Was that episode a farmer-herder conflict?

Your Eminence Sir, on July 1, 2022, over 70 Roman Catholic Priests held a public protest over the killing of their colleagues by Muslim insurgents after the slaughter of Rev Fr. Vitus Borogo, then the Chaplain of the Catholic at Kaduna Polytechnic. Was Kaduna Polytechnic a farmland in contest with Fulani herdsmen?

Other Roman Catholic Priests who were slaughtered in the same manner include: 1. Rev Fr. Clement Ugwu; 2. Rev Fr. Paul Offu; 3. Rev Fr. David Tanko; 4. Rev Fr. Isaac Azekpili Achi; 5. Rev. Fr. John Gbakaan of the Diocese of Minna; 6. Rev Fr. Godfrey Chimezie of St. Theresa’s Parish, Umuahia; 7. Rev. Fr. Christopher Odia; 8. Rev Fr. Mathew Eya of St. Charles Catholic Church, Eha-Ndiagu, in Enugu State; 9. Rev Fr. Joseph Gor of Makurdi Diocese; 10. Rev Fr. Felix Tyolaha of Makurdi Diocese; 11. Fr. Sylvester Okechukwu of Diocese of Kafanchan; 12. Major Seminarians Andrew Peter of Auchi Catholic Diocese; 13. Na’Aman Danlami Stephen of Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan; and14. Michael Nnadi of Sokoto Diocese—Bishop Matthew Kukah’s Seminarian.

Are you, His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, telling us that the above gruesome murder of Roman Catholic priests do not matter to you and the Catholic leadership sitting comfortably in the Vatican City?  Or is it because the bloods flowed from under Black skins that you don’t consider them worthy of being defined as crimes against humanity worthy of being brought before the International Criminal Court (ICC)?

You join in demanding that President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Bibi Benjamin Netanyahu be brought before ICC for gallantly defending the cause of their people; but you feign ignorance of the plight of your own flocks—the besieged Nigerian Christians facing extermination by Muslim jihadists whom you unfortunately refer to as herders. What do me call such? Your guess is as good as mine.

We need not go into the arena of the Protestant victims which are more than doubled the number of your Catholic victims. Your Eminence, are you insensitive to know that all the above brutally murdered ordained Priests of the Catholic Church had had the ambition of becoming what you are today? Let me ask you, Your Eminence, what farmland were these murdered priests contesting with Muslim Fulani herders?

Your Eminence Sir, your official news outlet, Vatican News issue of 14 July 2025, reported how Muslim gunmen invaded the Immaculate Conception Minor Seminary, Ivhianokpodi-Agenebode in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State on October 27, 2024 and, kidnapped the Rector Rev Fr. Thomas Oyode, who was luckily released after 11 days in captivity. The question to Your Eminence is, was that Seminary a farmland and the Rector a farmer contesting for space with herders?

The news report concluded: “This seminary is not an isolated case, as for the past decade the Catholic Church in Nigeria has seen an alarming rise in the number of abductions targeting priests, seminarians and other religious personnel. In March 2025 Fides released a report indicating that between 2015 and 2025 a total of 145 priests were abducted of which 11 were killed.”

Your Eminence, does the above report coming right from your bedroom in Vatican City suggest a social case of farmer-herder conflict or an outright onslaught against Christendom in Nigeria by Muslim jihadists? This category of tissue of lies was one of the reasons I left the Catholic Church in my first year of High School; and this of course fully justifies the German Monk and theologian Rev Fr. Martin Luther’s 1517 AD publication of his Ninety-Five (95) Thesis to the Roman Catholic Church that heralded the beginning of Protestantism.

In their written evidence submitted to the UK House of Commons (IRN0012) in 2021, the United Kingdom-based Open Doors UK & Ireland stated: “Violence against Christians perpetrated by Boko Haram, ISWAP and Fulani militants, as well as unidentified gunmen, has spilled over from the north and Middle Belt into the southern States. This has caused increased pressure related to a sense of insecurity and impunity.”

The report further enumerated the following evidence of calculated attacks on Christians in Nigeria between 2011 and 2020 alone:

  1. On 6 May 2020, Boko Haram attacked Debiro, Dakwiama and Tarfa communities of Biu LGA in Borno State, burnt two EYN Churches, razed down the two villages, killing Mr. Audu Bata and some houses in Tarfa.
  2. On 21 February 2020, Garkida community, the birthplace of the EYN movement, was attacked by Boko Haram. The first EYN Church was built here. Two other Churches Anglican and Living Faith were also burnt. The EYN Brethren College of Health Technology, EYN Rural Health Department and its vehicles, prominent Christian houses and shops were looted and burnt. Mr Emmanuel Bitrus Tarfa was abducted.
  3. On 2 February 2020, Boko Haram attacked Leho community of Askira/Uba LGA of Borno State again. All three EYN Churches were burnt, EYN Leho 1, Leho 2 and Leho Bakin Rijiya.
  4. On 2 February 2020, Boko Haram attacked Michika Community of Adamawa State and abducted Rev Lawan Andimi the EYN District Church Secretary.
  5. On 2 January 2020, Boko Haram kidnapped and later beheaded the EYN District Church Council leader and CAN Chairman of Minchika LGA in Adamawa State.
  6. 29 December 2019, Mandaragirau community of Biu in the LGA of Borno State was attacked. 18 Christians were abducted, the oldest was a 42-year-old woman, the youngest was a three year old child. The Church building and foodstuff were destroyed as well as the primary school.
  7. On Christmas Eve 2019, Boko Haram jihadists driving trucks and motorcycles stormed into Kwarangulum near the town of Chibok in Borno, firing at residents, looting all they could and burning their homes.
  8. On 22 December 2019, in Borno state, Boko Haram jihadists attacked two passenger buses and released the Muslim passengers. They then held back the Christians, separating the men and women. A pastor from Deeper Life Bible Church and two other men were killed on the spot, while the pastor’s relative and two humanitarian workers were abducted.
  9. Attack on Christmas carolers in southern part of Kaduna State on 22 December 2017 by armed Fulani herdsmen which left 5 Christians killed and several others injured;
  10. Attacks on worshippers on Christmas Day 2017 by suspected Muslim Fulani Herdsmen during Christmas service in Benue State that left 3 Christians killed and others injured, and also attacks on New Year’s Day that killed over 70 Christians;
  11. Attacks on four churches in Kwara State on New Year’s Day 2018 with many injured, rapes committed and properties destroyed by local Muslims;
  12. The killing of two priests and 17 others during a service at St Ignatius’ Church, in Mbalom, Benue State on 24 April 2018 by armed Fulani herdsmen;
  13. Attacks in Adamawa State on Christmas Eve (24 December 2017) by suspected Muslim Herdsmen (1 death, 4 injuries).
  14. 500 churches have been destroyed in Benue State since 2011, one of the States worst hit by the conflict.
  15. In Taraba State, more than 100 Churches were destroyed by Fulani herders in 2014 and over 200 abandoned out of fear of further attacks. Approximately 65% of local Churches in Wukari were burnt and the entire population displaced. The bombing of St Finbar’s Catholic Church in Rayfield on 12 March 2012.
  16. On 31 December 2011, Boko Haram issued an ultimatum asking Christians to leave the North and go the South. By midnight, they were going from house to house to search out Christians by name for elimination.
  17. The bombing of Madala Church building in Suleja, Niger state, near Abuja on Christmas Day 2011.

Your Eminence, the above instances do not touch on the later gory episodes of Genocide beginning from 2020 to the present. Your Eminence Sir, if you, as an ordained man of God cannot understand the agony of Nigerian Christians at this high-point of their danger of extermination, then there is indeed something wrong with the Roman Catholic Church.

If you tell us that Muslims are killed as well, we don’t have problem with that. But that are you as the Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church is the right person to say so and openly justify the on-going Genocide against Christians, is what we condemn as taboo before God?

Are Christians the ones killing Muslims? If Muslims kill themselves for whatever reason as they often do, does that obliterate the fact that there is on-going genocide against Christians in Nigeria?

We the Christians have copious evidence of genocide against our people, and we consider it an unholy act, an abuse of Episcopal privilege and, outright disobedience of God’s Commission for the Vatican Secretary of State to attempt in any manner to change the narratives in favor of Muslims who are killing our people. Let the case of genocide be proven wrong with counter-evidence and not by venomous lies from such a high place as the Vatican City.

What a true Cardinal of the true God occupying such exalted office as Vatican Secretary of State should have done is to initiate immediate investigation into the case and, not to make unilateral adulterous pronouncement citing fake local evidence on such a serious matter as genocide against his own flocks, which is a clear insult to God. Or does the blood of the African Christian not worth a dime before the Vatican as in the case of the Jewish blood before them and the greater part of Western Europe today?

Why do I make reference to the Jews? Look at what is happening in the Gaza conflict and, look at the leaders of the Western Christian nations who recognized the non-existent State of Palestine and decided to ally with those who have no other objective than the destruction of the Jews and the State of State. Apart from the prodigal Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom whose downfall is already decided by his people, the rest are Roman Catholics who are subjects of Vatican City—France, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Brazil and, Colombia.

What is the situation today? They are all begging to participate in the implementation of a peace agreement they were never part of. We assume it is this same spirit of disobedience to God orchestrated by alliance with the Amalekites and Philistines that guides His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin in his abominable denial of genocide in Nigeria.

But can anyone fault the Word of God in respect of the present Conflict Gaza? The Book of Amos 1: 6-8 made it quite revealing:

Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they took captive the whole captivity To deliver them up to Edom. But I will send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, Which shall devour its palaces. I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, And the one who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; I will turn My hand against Ekron, And the remnant of the Philistines shall perish,” Says the Lord GOD.

Like the children of Israel, the persecuted Nigerian Christians today will rise to fight to defend their own right to live feely and practice their Faith in Christ and, those who torment them today shall be like Gaza tomorrow.
